Nonprofit Group Hires Charros Member and Former Scottsdale City Councilman Dennis Robbins

Scottsdale, Ariz. – The Scottsdale Charros is pleased to announce the appointment of Scottsdale native and lifelong resident Dennis Robbins as its new Executive Director.
“I am very excited to be leading the Scottsdale Charros in this capacity, said Robbins. “The Scottsdale Charros is a premier community service organization and its members are great community stewards. I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact on our City, public schools and charities.”
Most recently, Mr. Robbins served as an attorney with Davis Miles, PLLC and has been the president of local Midas Auto Service Franchisee, Deamma, Inc. for nearly 25 years. He is a graduate of California Lutheran University and holds a JD from Pepperdine University School of Law.
Mr. Robbins has been very active in the Scottsdale community and has been a member of numerous civic and philanthropic organizations. He served two terms on the Scottsdale City Council, is the past-president of the Scottsdale Education Foundation and a former board member of the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce and the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr. Robbins joined the Scottsdale Charros in 1995 and has held a number of leadership roles in the organization including chairman of the education and ride committees, patron (president) of the Concilio (executive committee) and president of The Charro Foundation.

Formed in 1961, the Scottsdale Charros are an all-volunteer group of business and civic leaders dedicated to providing support and funding for youth programs, educational scholarships and grants to local charities.
