Charro scholarships and grants directly support Scottsdale public school teachers and students at each of Scottsdale’s 30 public schools.

AZ residents donate to their favorite charity and/or public school through the Charro AZ Tax Credit program & every dollar goes back to them as an AZ tax credit.

The Scottsdale Charros, through the Charro Foundation, offer funding to qualifying local nonprofit organizations through an Annual Grant Cycle.

Charro grants provide financial assistance for projects, equipment, programs, athletics, or infrastructure that are not currently funded through traditional streams.

Grant Applications Now Open for 2025

Community nonprofits are invited to apply for a 2025 grant. All funds granted by the Charros are to be used exclusively for the program listed in the funding application. Grants are generally between $2,500 and $25,000. All applications must have a Charro sponsor.
