The Scottsdale Charros, through the Charro Foundation, offers funding to qualifying local nonprofit organizations through an Annual Grant Cycle. The variety of organizations we support is as impressive as their impact on our community. The Charro Foundation emphasizes giving grants to Scottsdale-based nonprofits that work in youth, youth sports, education, Scottsdale’s western heritage, or cultural and community enrichment.

2025 Grant Application Now Open
Community nonprofits are invited to apply for a 2025 grant. All funds granted by the Charros are to be used exclusively for the program listed in the funding application. Grants are generally between $2,500 and $25,000. All applications must have a Charro sponsor.
The Scottsdale Charros donated more than $1 million last year. More than 100 local organizations benefited from Charros’ grants, which were all made possible by our generous supporters who participate in spring training baseball and our other fundraising activities.
