Education Awards
Each spring, the Scottsdale Charros celebrate Scottsdale’s outstanding teachers and students. Six scholarships are awarded along with each SUSD school’s Educator of the Year and SUSD high school’s Outstanding Male and Outstanding Female Student of the Year. On April 25, we will host our 38th Annual Education Awards.

For many years, Grand Canyon University has been the Title Sponsor of the Charro Education Awards. GCU also funds a Charro scholarship designated for an SUSD graduating senior who is planning to attend GCU in the fall.
